The clip, cases, and CarryPods are all optional means to store your KardiaMobile and keep it close at hand when needed. None are needed for use of KardiaMobile.

Purchase of the KardiaMobile includes an attachment plate in the box.
The clip and case place the KardiaMobile at a good position for recording. If you prefer to use none of these options, you can record with the KardiaMobile and your phone or tablet laid flat on a table as shown in the picture below with the KardiaMobile within 6 inches.
