To connect the Kardia app to Apple Health and allow EKGs recorded on an Apple Watch to transfer from Apple Health to the Kardia app, follow the steps below. Please note that this connection only works one way, meaning EKGs from the Kardia app cannot be transferred to the Apple Health app.
Steps to Connect Kardia to Apple Health:
Open the Kardia App
Select Profile in the app.
2. Access Settings
Select the gear icon on the top right of the screen to open settings.
3. Connect to Apple Health
Select "Connect to Apple Health."
4. Confirm Connection
Select Connect to Apple Health again at the bottom of the screen.
5. Choose Data Categories
Select the different categories you would like Kardia to have access to in Apple Health
Finally, select Allow at the top right of the screen to complete the connection.
Now your Kardia app is connected to Apple Health, and EKGs can be transferred from Apple Health to Kardia. However, please remember that EKGs recorded in the Kardia app cannot be transferred to Apple Health.
